From 0-24 o'clock on September 19, Xiamen City reported 16 new local confirmed cases, 1 in Siming District, 1 in Haicang District, and 14 in Tong'an District.
As of 24:00 on September 19, Xiamen City has reported a total of 147 confirmed cases, 9 in Siming District, 3 in Huli District, 6 in Haicang District, and 129 in Tong'an District; a total of 4,673 people in close contact with the epidemic have been reported. , 11,205 second-time close contacts.
On the 19th, Xiamen City completed the second round of nucleic acid testing for all employees. In the second round of nucleic acid testing, 17 mixed-tube positive samples were detected, 16 from Tong'an and 1 from Haicang. 27 positive infections and 26 were found. From Tong'an, 1 case was from Haicang.
On the 20th, the city launched the third round of nucleic acid testing for all employees. The sampling will be completed this evening, and nucleic acid testing of more than 5 million people will be completed within one day, creating a speed in Xiamen.
(Xiamen City Command) has decided to launch the fourth round of nucleic acid testing for all employees on the 21st.
At the end of the press conference, Liao Huasheng, the deputy mayor of the Xiamen Municipal Government, added that he urged the general public to minimize the flow of people and stay at home before the test results came out.
