Shizuoka Prefecture and others announced on the 20th that it was confirmed that 29 people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The cumulative number of confirmed infections in the prefecture is 26,263.
It also announced that two patients had died in Hamamatsu City and one in Shizuoka City.
This brings the number of people who have died in the prefecture to 200.
