Amy Schumer has been operated on to treat her endometriosis
Amy Schumer has just undergone a major operation to treat her endometriosis: a hysterectomy.
The actress gave her news in a video posted on Instagram, revealing that she was suffering from a severe form of the disease.
“So it's the morning after my operation for endometriosis and I had my uterus removed.
The doctor found 30 endometriosis points which he removed.
He removed my appendix because endometriosis had attacked him.
There was a lot, a lot of blood in my uterus and I'm, you know, in pain and I'm, like, gas, ”she revealed.
Amy Schumer speaks regularly about her fight against this disease which was still taboo not long ago.
