A 77-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in a house in Hamura, Tokyo, for trying to strangle her 74-year-old sister to kill her.

The suspect was charged with murdering his son on bail in June, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the details.
The person arrested was Kikuyo Kodama (77), whose address and occupation are unknown.

When the suspect called 110 himself, his sister was found lying unconsciously on a futon in the bedroom and was taken to the hospital, but died shortly thereafter.
In response to the investigation, he admitted the suspicion and stated that he had been asked by his sister to strangle him.
The suspect was charged with murder on commission in June for being asked by his 47-year-old son to strangle and kill him, and is currently on bail.
