On September 19, the 14th National Games gymnastics event kicked off.
In the second match of the men's qualifying competition that afternoon, Xiao Ruoteng, a member of the Chinese men's gymnastics team and the runner-up of the men's all-around at the Tokyo Olympics, led the Beijing team to appear on the field.
During the appearance, the Beijing team received bursts of cheers and applause with a specially designed "muscle show" action.
When interviewed after the game, Xiao Ruoteng said that the appearance has no special meaning, just hope to "entertain" with the audience.
For the goal of this National Games, Xiao Ruoteng hopes to get better and better in the subsequent games and win the gold medal.
