When we say “Elaborated Food Products”, this denomination does not indicate the importance of the sector.

The Association of Elaborated Food Products Companies or ADEPALE is the main professional federation of the national food industry.

She is the spokesperson for 260 companies and 577 production sites in 67 French departments, through 6 member unions.

This represents a turnover of nearly 16 billion euros in 2021.

The professional sector employs 48,000 people.

This industry of processed food products has to face the classic problems specific to any business, but today it has to respond to new requirements.

That their action does not have an impact on the environment, that companies supply themselves with healthy products, that they assume corporate social responsibility.

And throughout the process, do not forget the imperative of food security.

On top of this, the Covid-19 is added, which has brought entire sectors of the economy to a standstill.
