Guizhou Liuzhi passenger ship rollover accident, 8 dead and 7 lost
At about 17:00 on September 18, a passenger ship overturned in the Mongzhang River, Liuzhi Special Economic Zone, Guizhou.
As of 8:10 on September 19, a total of 39 people have been searched and rescued, of which 31 were safe, and 8 died after being sent to a doctor. After investigation, it was confirmed that 7 people were still missing.
After the accident, the local government organized public security, transportation, emergency, health and other departments to rush to the scene to carry out rescue and disposal work.
At present, the search and rescue of missing persons, the treatment of the wounded, the aftermath of the deceased, and the comfort of family members are being carried out in an orderly manner.
