Amy Winehouse will be the subject of a new exhibition at the Design Museum in London.

A decade after the singer's death at the age of 27, this event called

Amy: Beyond the Stage

will be an opportunity to celebrate "a cultural icon that the world lost too soon".

As announced in a press release relayed by the NME, it will be "to explore the creative process, the powerful music and the unforgettable style of a musician whose work has blazed a unique path between jazz and R & B. , through artists such as Ronettes and Mark Ronson or creators like D & G, Moschino and many others ”.

An inimitable style

Visitors to the exhibition will also have the opportunity to contemplate objects that never belonged to Amy Winehouse, such as a notebook dating from her adolescence, photos and even handwritten words.

It will also be possible to see outfits worn by the late singer, as well as accessories.

As such, the organizers called on the stylist Naomi Parry who was a close friend of the artist.

“I was determined to do an exhibit dedicated to Amy because I had a front row seat when she became a global icon,” she explained, adding that the exhibit would provide an understanding of “how Amy Winehouse did combined music and design to create her look, style and voice ”.
