The symbolic milestone of 50 million people who have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine has been reached, Emmanuel Macron announced on Friday in a video posted on social networks.
"The vaccine saves lives, the virus kills, it's simple", declares the Head of State at the end of this video which takes again images of the whole vaccination campaign started at the end of December 2020. With the announcement of the health pass on July 12, France had experienced such a boost in first dose injection that the executive hoped to reach this milestone of 50 million by the end of August.
