A previously unknown sketch by the artist Vincent Van Gogh is now on display in Amsterdam. The work belongs to the series "Worn Out" and depicts an elderly man sitting huddled on a chair. - I think that many people feel this way after the pandemic, says museum director Emilie Gordenker.
The fact that new works by Vincent Van Gogh appear does not happen every day.
This sketch is owned by a private person who has reportedly had the work "in the family" for over 100 years.
It is now on display in Amsterdam until January next year.
