According to this, the number of people infected with the new coronavirus and being treated at home was 60,442 as of the 15th of this month.



It was about 42,000 people, 41% lower than the previous week when it exceeded 100,000 people, and decreased for the second consecutive week.



By prefecture, Aichi Prefecture had the highest number of 11,713 people, followed by Osaka Prefecture with 9,997 people and Tokyo with 5,959 people.



The number of people receiving medical treatment at hotels and other accommodations is 12,584 nationwide, which is more than 4,600 less than the previous week.



In addition, the number of people who were judged to need hospitalization but are adjusting their acceptance was 351 people nationwide, which is almost half of the previous week.



Hyogo prefecture has 219 people, Tokyo has 67 people, and Kumamoto prefecture has 31 people.
