The concept of degrowth is scary, but it is misunderstanding what it implies.
It is about pressing the brake.
The quest for infinite growth on a planet with limited resources is a myth which today shows its limits: climate change, disappearance of biodiversity, increase in inequalities ... Another social project is needed.
Vincent Liegey is an engineer, he coordinates Cargonomia in Budapest, a center for research and experimentation on degrowth.
