According to the police, the police officer was suspected of embezzlement in business from July to December last year, alleging that he had embezzled about 2.5 million yen in cash, including common service fees for the dormitory where police officers live in the city. increase.



The police officer was in charge of accounting for this dormitory by himself, and managed the common service fees such as collecting money from the police officers living in the dormitory and transferring it to the account in the name of the dormitory.



The embezzled money was used for gambling and repayment of debts, and in January, because the cash I was managing was almost gone, I reported to my boss myself, so I said, "I depended on gambling. , I couldn't control myself. "



The police disciplinary action for one month on the 17th, and the police officer retired on request.
