Less than 5,000 new cases next week

"There is an epidemic decline in many European countries, but very particularly and very notably in France, where we can also predict that in a week, we will have less than 5,000 new contaminations per day", explained the epidemiologist. "If you remember, that was the President of the Republic's epidemic decline objective for the second wave. It is going in the right direction."

Will we soon be able to end the health pass?

"Vaccination is not 100% effective, masks either, the health pass either, but all of this device makes it possible to control the epidemic. So, when the virus circulates much less in the population, like this will be the case in France in maybe two weeks, you can start removing restrictions, "predicted the epidemiologist.

The Danish example

"There is another country that we can follow very closely is Denmark, which introduced the health pass on April 6, but it removed everything last week. So today we have a country that removed everything because he is in very low circulation of the virus and can afford to live more or less normally, "detailed Antoine Flahault.

This Thursday, the head of state was optimistic about the health situation in France.

"As soon as the sanitary conditions allow it and, in my opinion, when I see the figures, it will not come so late", we will be able to "allow ourselves in the territories where the virus circulates less quickly to lift certain constraints and to relive normally, "he said on the sidelines of the meetings of the Union of local businesses.
