The focal depth is 10 kilometers.

  After receiving the report, Huang Ming, deputy commander of the State Council’s Earthquake Relief Command and Director of the Emergency Management Department, immediately rushed to the Ministry’s Command Center to connect the China Earthquake Administration with the Sichuan Provincial Government, the Provincial Emergency Management Department, the Fire Rescue Corps, and Luxian County. Comrades, dispatch to understand the disaster situation, guide the survey, search and rescue work, and dispatch the national comprehensive fire-fighting and rescue force to strengthen the earthquake area.
