The patient presented to a fever clinic in a Zhangzhou hospital at 18:00 on September 15 due to a sore throat and low-grade fever. After review, the nucleic acid test was positive.
Based on the patient's epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, and laboratory test results, the case was initially determined to be a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (light type), and the source of infection was a colleague of a company in Huli Industrial Park, Tongan District, Xiamen.
According to an official report, in the early morning of September 16, the Zhangzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone immediately conducted a concentrated medical observation of 17 close contacts who were initially determined to live in the area, and promptly checked other close and sub-close contacts, as well as those who were found out. Out-of-town close contact and sub-close contact personnel send letters to the territorial unit for assistance in investigation.
