As the infection with the new coronavirus continues, more and more families visit the shrine in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture, to avoid the congestion of Shichigosan, and the shrine is busy preparing to give it to children.

Tsushima Shrine in Tsushima City is visited from the end of October to the middle of November every year by visiting Shichigosan from the surrounding cities, towns and Mie prefectures.

However, according to the shrine, the number of families who visit early to avoid the crowded period due to the increase in infection of children is increasing recently.

For this reason, at the shrine, preparations for Chitose candy for about 2,000 people began about half a month earlier than usual, and four people were packing the bags on the 16th.

At this shrine, the idea of the priest is to hand out a disinfectant sheet to prevent infection to children who visited Shichigosan from this time along with a bag containing chitose candy and toys.

Masahiro Hotta, a priest of Tsushima Shrine, said, "Shichigosan is a valuable opportunity to look back on your childhood in the future, so please feel free to visit us by shifting the time."
