Of the people who died from being infected with the new coronavirus in Tokyo, 45 people were receiving medical treatment at home in the 5th wave, which is half of the people who died during home medical treatment so far.

Since last month of the 5th wave in Tokyo, 45 people have been confirmed dead during home medical treatment on the 16th, including two newly confirmed people.



The number of people who died during home medical treatment has been confirmed to be 90 so far, and the number of people who died in the 5th wave alone has been reduced to half.



Of the 45 people, at least 34, excluding those who requested home medical care, were found dead at home or were transported by emergency due to sudden changes in their physical condition but died.



Of these 34 people, 5 are in their 30s, 8 are in their 40s, and 11 are in their 50s, and about 70% are in their 50s or younger.
