Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the Forum, Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, said that “the program of proactive workshops, which constitutes a vital model in preserving stories and narrators, is full, and opens spaces without borders in front of the imagination of children and young people, to be the backbone of those workshops that precede the launch of the Sharjah Forum.” The 21st International Narrator, and the Spirit of the Story workshop moved on writing animal stories in three locations across the emirate, as it lasted three days at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, Dibba Al-Hisn Office, and five days at the Sharjah Heritage Institute, the Institute’s headquarters, the International Organizations Center for Folk Heritage building, and three days Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club.

Al-Musallam added: “After 21 copies of the Sharjah International Narrator Forum, September has become the core, horizon and depth of the story. Preserving it and passing it on to new generations, as the focus is on children and young people and their active and vibrant participation with passion in this amazing world.”

For his part, the poet and storyteller who specializes in writing for children, Qassem Saudi, said: “The spirit of the story is an aesthetic practice that opens a window on the heritage and contemporary heritage of the most important animal stories. It is a workshop for writing animal stories, and the students participating in the workshop surprised me for their ability to learn.”

He pointed out that "the workshop witnessed throughout its days mental and writing exercises on paper, and through this we opened the maximum extent of the imagination's energy, in order to liberate language and ideas, and the stories written by the children and adolescents participating were exclusively inside the workshop, so that the child gains confidence in himself."
