Toyama Prefecture announced that 22 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the number of confirmed infections in Toyama Prefecture to 4712.
The prefecture also announced that two infected people had died, bringing the number of infected people to 48 in the prefecture.
