At 4:55, a magnitude 2.8 earthquake occurred in Lu County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province (29.17 degrees north latitude, 105.36 degrees east longitude) with a focal depth of 15 kilometers.

According to official news from Luzhou Emergency Management Bureau, Luzhou has initiated a first-level emergency response.

  China Earthquake Networks reported that the epicenter of the 6.0 magnitude earthquake was 16 kilometers away from Longchang City, 36 kilometers away from Fushun County, 38 kilometers away from Luzhou City, 196 kilometers away from Chengdu City, and 124 kilometers away from Chongqing City.

The epicenter was 3 kilometers away from the nearest Fuji Town and 7 kilometers away from the county seat of Luxian County.

CCTV News reported that many earthquakes in Chengdu and Chongqing were obvious.
