Philippe Djian returns with a new novel "Double Nelson" which refers to a wrestling catch that puts the opponent on the mat.

A book about a love story between a writer and a female commando that hits hard and begins with a slap in the face.

Philippe Djian

is perhaps the most American of French writers.

He also places the novels of William Faulkner, Jack Kerouac, Philip Roth, or Bret Easton Ellis on the shelves of his ideal library.

Since "37 ° 2 in the morning", the novel which made him known to the general public and which has been adapted for the cinema by Jean-Jacques Beineix, Philippe Djian sets an annual meeting - or almost - for regular readers at her bittersweet handwriting.

Here he is back with a love story that pits a writer and a female commando in the army, which is original to say the least.

"Double Nelson", the new novel by Philippe Djian has been published by Flammarion editions.
