The Hashemite University responds to “The King of Beauty Jordan”

Jordanian Ayman Al-Ali, nicknamed "The King of Beauty Jordan", sparked a state of controversy on social networking sites after he appeared in a video clip in which he said that the Hashemite University assigned him "Safa" alone.

The university said that it was surprised when a young man appeared through a social networking application, claiming that the university had assigned him a “safa” alone.

In a statement, the university confirmed that these allegations are totally false, and it will pursue the plaintiff through the official legal methods for this claim.

She added that it is an educational institution whose goal is noble values, and providing opportunities to practice cultural, sports, artistic, rehabilitative and training activities that refine the personalities of young people.

According to the "Roya" news website, Al-Ali apologized after a video clip of him, which was widely circulated on social media platforms, and Al-Ali said, that the video clip was only comic, and the clip is incorrect, adding that he is an ordinary person like the rest of the students.

He added that he apologized to the Hashemite University, and its president, for the video clip.

Al-Ali had sparked controversy through the “Tik Tok” application after appearing in a video clip in which he said that he had received a dowry of 200,000 Jordanian dinars from a girl of Arab nationality.

Al-Ali announced earlier that he had received an offer of 20,000 Jordanian dinars as a dowry from a Jordanian girl to marry her.
