In response to the Fujian epidemic, Ma Guanghui, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Health Commission, said that the current situation of the epidemic in Fujian Province is relatively severe. It has spread among communities, schools and other populations. The risk of the epidemic spreading in local areas is high, and there is a possibility of spillage.
Ma Guanghui said that since all participating athletes will be closed for management since August 6, the technical officials will stay at home 7 days before the meeting and will be closed for management 7 days before the meeting.
The Expert Group on Epidemic Prevention and Control of the 14th National Games believes that the Fujian epidemic has a relatively low impact on the scheduled, safe and smooth holding of the 14th National Games.
