China News Service, Macau, September 14 (Reporter Long Tuyou) The General Accounting Committee of the Seventh Legislative Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region announced on the 14th the general accounting results. The chairman of the committee, Guo Jianxiong, said that after accounting, 15 directly elected votes were announced. It was a valid ballot, and another invalid ballot was declared as a valid ballot.

Maintain the previously announced list of 26 directly elected and indirectly elected members unchanged.

  According to the results of the voting, 137,279 voters have voted for direct elections, with a total of 132,071 valid votes.

The results have been posted on the ground floor of the Public Administration Building and uploaded to the Legislative Council Election website for public viewing.

  According to the number of votes, the 14 directly elected members of the 7th Legislative Council are: Shi Jialun, Li Jingyi, Gao Tianci, Zheng Anting, Liang Hongxi, Huang Kitchen, Song Biqi, Liang Sunxu, Xie Shihong, Lin Yutao, Luo Caiyan, Yan Yiheng, Ma Yaofeng, and Li Liangwang.

  The 12 indirectly elected members are: Gao Kaixian, Cui Shiping, Ye Zhaojia, and Wang Shimin from the business and financial sectors; Lin Lunwei and Li Zhenyu from the labor sector; Cui Shichang, Huang Xianhui, and Chen Yili from the professional sector; He Runsheng from the social service and education sector; and culture and sports Chen Zewu and Liang Anqi of the world.

  The seven appointed members will be announced by the Chief Executive of the Special Administrative Region within 15 days after receiving the general accounting results of the Legislative Council elections.

  According to reports, the Legislative Council Election Committee must send the election results to the Court of Final Appeal within 5 days after receiving the total accounting records. Once verified, the Court of Final Appeal shall announce the list of elected candidates and publish it in the "Gazette of the Macao Special Administrative Region."

  The Legislative Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region is the legislature of Macao. It is composed of permanent residents of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the majority of its members are elected.

The seventh legislative council is composed of 33 members. The term of office will begin in October 2021, with a term of 4 years.
