On September 13, the first national-level sea search and rescue unscripted actual combat exercise hosted by the China Maritime Search and Rescue Center and undertaken by the Hebei Maritime Search and Rescue Center was held in the waters of Caofeidian, Tangshan City, Hebei Province.

On the same day, the actual combat exercise was based on the ongoing "Commercial and Fishery Governance" as a background, and simulated the major danger of the sinking of a fishing boat and the loss of 11 people.

The Hebei Provincial Maritime Search and Rescue Center coordinated and commanded national professional rescue ships, maritime police, fishery administration and other official ships, as well as social rescue assistance to carry out search and rescue operations.

According to the Hebei Provincial Maritime Search and Rescue Center, this national-level maritime search and rescue practice without scripts is the first in China.

Scriptless actual combat exercises for maritime search and rescue are emerging issues in China, and there is no mature experience to learn from.

This scriptless exercise is closer to actual combat and is of great significance for accumulating experience.
