"People are always going to die, to die well. I am willing to donate my body to the medical and health care voluntarily and freely. This is the last contribution of a party member." This is Bin Xiangwu, a retired doctor from Liutie Central Hospital in Liuzhou City, Guangxi. Last wishes written during his lifetime.

"Now my father's wish has been fulfilled, and his whole life has been dedicated to the cause of medicine." On September 14, Bin Xiangwu's son Bin Jun said with tears in his eyes, "We are really reluctant to bear my father, there are four more Yue is his 89th birthday, and he used to paint on the balcony before..."

His hometown is Bin Xiangwu in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. In 1952, in response to the national policy, he came from Xiangbei Construction College to the branch of Liuzhou Railway Bureau Central Hospital (now Liuzhou Liutie Central Hospital) to engage in medical examination work; this work lasted 41 years. He served as technician, supervisor technician, and director of the laboratory until his retirement in 1993.

"My father has dedicated his life to Guangxi, but he thinks he has done nothing for his hometown." Bin Jun said that Bin Xiangwu had always wanted to repay his hometown's nurturing grace and do his part.

Bin Xiangwu, who has been engaged in medicine all his life, is well aware of the scarcity of "general teachers". In 2003, after discussing with his wife, he wrote to Hunan Medical University (now Xiangya Medical College) and voluntarily registered as a body donor.

It is reported that the "general teacher" is the honorific name given to body donors in the medical community, and they allow medical students to perform simulated surgery training on the closest real human body.

Since then, Bin Xiangwu has repeatedly mentioned this matter to his family in letters and verbally.

Bin Xiangwu wrote in a letter in 2017: “As long as my organs and tissues are usable and can save and extend the patient’s life, we can draw materials. If the organs of the whole body are not usable at all, I will donate my body. It is used to train young medical workers for internship in anatomy teaching. This is my original dream, and I die well without any regrets."

"Father often mentions that we may be worried that we will not act according to his wishes." Bin Xiangwu's daughter Bin Bin said with tears that her father loves life very much.

"I am really reluctant. I have wanted to talk to my father many times about the donation, but thinking of what he said, I can't speak..."

When Binxiang Wu died, he returned to Hunan from Liuzhou under the escort of an ambulance, and died peacefully on the way home.

In the early morning of September 11, despite many reluctances, in order to realize his father's last wish, Bin Bin reluctantly went through the procedures for the free donation of the remains and the cornea.

In Binjia, it is not just Bin Xiangwu who allows his life to continue in love and dedication.

In 2016, Bin Xiangwu's second son, Bin Yi, died of a cerebral hemorrhage, and his life was fixed at the age of 50 forever.

Bin Yi's family reluctantly decided to donate Bin Yi's organs to continue his life.

In the end, the cornea, lungs, kidneys and other organs donated by Bin Yi brought new life to 3 patients.

Bin Yi's wife and daughter also became organ donation volunteers after his death.

"Second brother's righteousness not only affected his family, but many people became organ donation volunteers because of his deeds." Bin Bin said that his father's selfless dedication was a poem written by him during his lifetime, "To contribute more to the country and the people, and to stay innocent forever." The portrayal of “respected by others” hopes that his father’s deeds can convey some positive energy, so that more people can join the team of organ donation volunteers and relay the lives of others.
