The exhibition, which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region and president of the Emirates Falconers Club, during the period from the 27th of this month to the 3rd of next October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, is keen that art is present in this forum that brings together Creative people from different continents, as he succeeded in attracting a group of artistic participations that varied between painting, sculpture, photography, decoration and masterpieces of handicrafts.

The new course, organized by the Emirates Falconers Club, bears the slogan "Sustainability and Heritage... With a Renewed Spirit".

The Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the exhibition, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers Club, Majid Ali Al Mansouri, stressed that "the Abu Dhabi exhibition is not limited to being an international forum for producers of hunting tools and weapons, those interested in land and sea trips, and those who are fond of falconers and equestrians, but rather hosts many artistic participations from different countries, and its halls are decorated with And its corners and halls with paintings, models, photographs and plastic artworks in harmony with the essence and content of the event, embodying history and heritage and mimicking the ancient environment, most of which are derived from the customs and traditions of the region in general and the UAE in particular.”

The next edition of the largest event of its kind in the Middle East and Africa will have the wide participation of 80 painters, plastic artists and craftsmen from the UAE, as well as artists from Arab and foreign countries, who are present in their stands and pavilions in the arts and crafts sector of the exhibition, as their presence represents a great opportunity To engage with the art and hunting fans in the region and those who love art.

It also nominated more than 45 painters and photographers for the drawing and photography competitions from the UAE, the Gulf Cooperation Council and many countries of the world, which include the most beautiful paintings and photographs in the fields of hunting, equestrian and heritage in general.

With the end of the registration deadline on August 31, last year, specialized arbitration committees with a high level of ability, artistic culture and heritage and environmental knowledge began sorting out the nominated works, in preparation for selecting the most beautiful paintings and photos.

The competitions come within the framework of the exhibition organizers’ keenness to introduce generations to the cultural, civilizational and environmental heritage of their parents and grandparents and the importance of preserving the environment, and to highlight the important role played by the art of drawing and the art of photography, to contribute to environmental awareness, and to document the equestrian and falconry sports that have a strong connection to the Arab cultural heritage. and human civilization in general.

The “Most Beautiful Paintings” and “The Most Beautiful Photographs” competitions are directed to painters and photographers from all over the world, and include three branches: (Falconry, Equestrian, and Heritage) so that the first three winners in each branch are honored, and each artist is allowed to participate in the work. One technician in each branch, produced in 2021, characterized by creativity, distinction and high artistic sense.

This year, the exhibition attracts local and international artistic participations by painters from the UAE and many countries, from emerging talents and veteran artists who participated in international exhibitions and won important prizes, and left clear imprints in the arenas of fine art in the Emirates and the world and the cultural scene in general.

The exhibition hosts plastic artists, photographers, painters, calligraphers and artistic designers, in addition to local and international art galleries, which present highly artisanal paintings in various techniques that express different schools of art, realistic, abstract and modern, and their themes revolve around desert and marine environments, and fishing (its affairs and concerns).

Many of the participating artists were also keen to develop artworks and plastic paintings specifically for the exhibition’s theme in its new session: “Sustainability and Heritage… A Renewed Spirit.”

The exhibition management has also invited young creators to participate in the “Future Artist Competition”, provided that the applicant is 17 years old or less, and that the artwork is closely related to any of the exhibition’s 11 sectors, and the exhibition’s slogan for this year is “Sustainability and Heritage… With a Renewed Spirit.” ».

In its new session, the exhibition sheds light on the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, by organizing workshops for students for drawing, calligraphy, pottery, sculpture and photography.

Stories told on the bodies of horses

In its new session, the exhibition welcomes the participation of "Ibtisam Fantasia" in arts and crafts, as Ibtisam's paintings represent stories told on the bodies of horses using acrylic, to present works in an abstract and realistic style.

The artist's talent blends with colors and dreams to create integrated paintings, while the strength of horses appears in her drawings through different poses.
