Last Monday, the day on which the opening of the judicial year was celebrated, in the groups that were formed in the act there was a request that was repeated by several judicial associations.

The representatives of judges and prosecutors took the opportunity to ask the Monarch to be present at the delivery of dispatches to the new judges in Catalonia, which is traditionally held at this time.

The prudence of Felipe VI has always been commendable, but we cannot ignore that, on this occasion, such caution may respond to the ignominious partisan calculation with which the Sánchez Government handles all the
springs of the State, even those over which it has no power
. What was perpetrated just a year ago is still fresh, when Sánchez conceived a disloyal and cowardly veto with obscurantism that prompted Felipe VI not to preside over the delivery of dispatches, all this, in order to dance the water to his partners and not to anger the secessionist world. Beyond the protocol of breaking a 20-year-uninterrupted tradition, such interference concealed an enormous constitutional and political dimension: the presence of the head of State in the second most important city in Spain was curtailed at the request of parties and many actions whose postulates have been located outside the constitutional channel. Such institutional humiliation cannot be repeated.
Today we report that the General Council of the Judiciary has extended the invitation to the act for the Monarch. No other action was expected from the highest body, since last year its president had the courage to react in public to that uncouth outrage. And although today, as then, we are not waiting for the sentence against Quim Torra, the pro-independence authorities are already trying again to torpedo the celebration. "We do not have a King," said the spokesperson for the Junts in Congress, Miriam Nogueras, to be opposed to Felipe VI presiding over the ceremony. Beyond the outburst, it should be noted that there is a risk that, on the verge of resuming the so-called dialogue table between the Government and its most disloyal partners, Sánchez will once again have the temptation to protect the head of State.But the King should not only go to Catalonia this time
: you must step on it as many times as necessary
.
Because where our unity, our organization is most threatened, the symbols of this country must be reproduced and displayed with pride.
The King must be in Catalonia.
Once the invitation is issued, it is the Royal House which corresponds to mark the date.
And political affairs must not interfere.
The judicial school has finished and it is necessary that, when the real agenda allows it, preside over the ceremony that accredits the new officials of the Judicial Power to administer Justice on its behalf.
The King, as we never tire of remembering,
it is not anyone's currency
.
But we also know that the institutional erosion of which Sánchez is capable has no limits.
