In an interview with Xinhua News Agency reporters, Liang Hongxi, the vice chairman of the Macau Qunli Think Tank Center, said that the election adheres to the principle of “patriots governing Macao” and strictly controls the government to ensure that future legislators are “patriots” and promote the harmonious and stable development of Macao’s society.
