Kane Tanaka, the oldest person in Japan at the age of 118, was presented with a bouquet from Fukuoka Prefecture on the 13th to celebrate her longevity.

Born in 1897, Mr. Tanaka has been certified as the "oldest person in the world in life" by the Guinness World Records.

On the message card given to Mr. Tanaka, who lives in a welfare facility for the elderly in Fukuoka City, a message such as "Let's stay healthy forever" was written by Governor Hattori of Fukuoka Prefecture. Mr. Tanaka, who received it with the bouquet, was pleased to sign the peace sign and nod.

Mr. Tanaka has not been able to meet his family due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but his goal is to live well until he is 120 years old.
