On September 11, on the sea about 60 kilometers away from Dafeng Port, an employee who was commissioning an offshore wind farm suffered a sudden illness and had an unbearable abdominal pain. He urgently needed to be sent to the hospital for treatment.
After receiving the call for help, the Jiangsu Yancheng Maritime Search and Rescue Center urgently coordinated with relevant departments to arrange a helicopter to go there. It took only two hours before and after to send the sick employee to the hospital in Yancheng District for treatment.
It is reported that if the ship is used for rescue, it will take more than 4 hours to send the sick employee to the port. Taking into account the impact of tides and other factors, the rescue time will be longer.
This sea flight rescue is also the first point-to-point rescue in Yancheng that has reached a hospital directly by sea.
