Blackpink Lisa's solo debut song 'Larisa' music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube in the shortest time for a K-pop solo artist.

YG Entertainment, the agency, announced that the music video for 'Larisa' surpassed 100 million YouTube views on the afternoon of the 12th.

Just two days after it was released at 1 PM on the 10th, it reached 100 million views the fastest as a K-pop solo artist music video.

The previous record for the shortest time for a K-pop solo artist was Psy's 'Gentleman' music video released in April 2013, which took about 4 days.

The music video for 'Larisa' also garnered about 70.5 million views within 24 hours of posting on YouTube.

The song 'Larisa' also climbed to the top of the iTunes song charts in 60 countries on the first day of its release, and has since expanded the number one region to 66 countries.

Blackpink's YouTube channel subscribers surpassed Justin Bieber on the afternoon of the 10th immediately after the release of Lisa's solo debut song and climbed to No.

The agency said that before and after Lisa's solo single release, the number of subscribers to Blackpink's YouTube channel increased by nearly 1.2 million.
