"Three thousand orphans entered Inner Mongolia." They were both adopted 60 years ago, but now they are actually sisters!

"Thanks to the public security police and everyone. We were sisters who grew up together in the past, but today we know that we are still connected by blood. I hope that through the reunion operation, we can have more brothers and sisters, find their relatives, and realize their dreams soon." A few days ago, Said Zhang Fengqin, who is over sixty years old.

Recently, the "Reunion Action Let Love Go Home" confession ceremony was held at the Public Security Bureau of Horqin District, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

At the ceremony, Shanghai orphans Zhang Fengqin and Zhang Xiqin, who were adopted by local farmers 60 years ago, have been scientifically verified that they are indeed sisters.

The two old men who were more than sixty years old embraced again and shed tears of excitement.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, my country experienced rare natural disasters.

Some orphanages in Shanghai, Jiangsu and other places are suffering from food shortages, and the food rations of more than 3,000 young and sickly orphans have become a problem.

The kind and broad grasslands of Inner Mongolia opened their arms to them. More than 3,000 orphans came to Inner Mongolia to become "children of the country". Zhang Fengqin and Zhang Xiqin were two of them.

In 1961, Zhang Jiuqing and his wife, who lived in Shuangpaozi Commune, Tongliao County, Tongliao County (now Qianjiadian Town, Horqin District, Tongliao City), had no children. With the certification and accompaniment of local officials, they adopted two from the Shanghai Orphans Relief Station. Girl, the elder is 5 years old, named Zhang Fengqin; the younger is 3 years old, named Zhang Xiqin.

"Back then, the adoptive parents had only three earthen houses, and there were pillars supporting the purlins. They were all ordinary farmers." According to Zhang Fengqin's memory, although the family was poor, they basically ate cornmeal wowotou or sorghum rice, and there were green vegetables in the summer. , There are only cabbage potatoes in winter.

"But no matter how hard and tired our parents are, they will keep us full."

Zhang Xiqin told reporters that adoptive parents are neither negligent nor pampered with the sisters, just like other parents treat their children.

"If you get sick, you will cook two eggs or make a bowl of white noodle soup to soothe it. This is the most'luxury' delicacy of the year." Zhang Xiqin said.

Zhang Fengqin doesn't have much memory of her life experience.

I just vaguely remember that she was living in a group before she was adopted. She had a higher bed. She had a fall from going to the toilet at night, leaving a scar on her forehead.

After being adopted, Zhang Fengqin and Zhang Xiqin became sisters. After graduating from elementary school, they worked at home farming.

When Zhang Xiqin was 14 years old, her adoptive mother Wang Shuzhen died of illness, and her adoptive father Zhang Jiuqing lived with the sisters.

After that, the sisters both got married and had children in the village.

"The adoptive father is loyal and honest, and treats us as if he is his own. Until his death, he never revealed our life experience." Zhang Fengqin said that when he was young, a child revealed that the sisters were "carried". Although the two had doubts, But never asked the adoptive parents.

Today, both sisters have children and grandchildren, but this mystery has always been their heart disease.

By chance, the two sisters were introduced to "The Children of the Country in Tongliao". The members of this group were all Shanghai orphans who came to Tongliao that year.

This year, the Ministry of Public Security launched the "Reunion" campaign. The group contacted the Horqin District Public Security Bureau, hoping to help the sisters find relatives through scientific and technological means.

"Starting in August, we have collected blood samples, ID numbers and portrait photos for more than 50 people in this group, entered them in the information database, and sent the blood samples to the Tongliao City Public Security Bureau for preliminary DNA comparisons. After testing, it was found that Zhang Fengqin and Zhang Xiqin were the same The possibility of being a sister is extremely high," said Su Rui, a forensic doctor from the Technical Squadron of the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Public Security Bureau of Horqin District.

Subsequently, the police sent the blood samples of the two to a Beijing authority for judicial identification, and finally confirmed that the two were relatives.

"I heard the old man said that when we adopted our sisters, the staff joked that it is best to adopt these two girls together. They might still be sisters." Zhang Fengqin recalled, but he didn't expect it to be true.

According to Song Guoxi, deputy director of the Public Security Bureau of Horqin District, Tongliao City, the "Reunion Operation" is a special operation carried out by the public security organs to find abducted and missing children. Children are the main content.

"Through improving the information on parents searching for missing and abducted children, extensively collecting data on suspected abducted persons, organizing timely technical comparisons and inspections, and solidly carrying out work such as tackling difficult cases, we will try our best to arrest a batch of suspects of child abduction and comprehensively search for missing and abducted children. , And strive to realize family reunion as soon as possible." Song Guoxi said.
