"Wearing a mask nevertheless remains compulsory for all persons aged 11 and over who are on public roads or in places open to the public where respect for physical distancing can be made difficult due to high traffic" , however indicates the state services.

This concerns in particular fairs and markets, the surroundings of schools and events.

These measures may however be "supplemented", indicates the prefecture of the Pyrénées-Orientales, depending on the evolution of the spread of Covid-19 in the department.

On Thursday, the incidence rate in the Pyrénées-Orientales was 118 cases over 7 days per 100,000 inhabitants.

The average incidence in France was 128.
