Chinanews.com, Beijing, September 9th (Reporter Ying Ni) "National Art Museum of China Academic Invitation Series: Rivers and Mountains-Li Keran Art Exhibition" co-sponsored by the National Art Museum of China and Li Keran Painting Academy opened at the National Art Museum of China on the 9th , More than 70 pieces of Li Keran's fine works were unveiled.

  The exhibition is divided into 4 chapters: "Green Mountain Iron Casting·Landscape", "Easy Writing Innocent·Character", "Bowback Flute · Cow Herd", and "Vastly and Thick Calligraphy".

  Among them, there are familiar representative works such as "Jinggang Mountain Main Peak Picture", "Wu Gorge Sailing Shadow", "Apricot Blossom Spring Rain in the South of the Yangtze River", etc., as well as works that are not frequently exhibited and debuted, such as "Nine Bulls Picture" and "Pair the Musical Instrument". And so on, represents Li Keran's creative process and the full picture of art over 40 years from the 1940s to the 1980s, leading the audience into Li Keran's art world.

  Wu Weishan, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, director of the National Art Museum of China, and vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association, commented on Li Keran’s painting art. The majestic atmosphere, the creation of a new aesthetic realm. The ink stains the rivers and mountains, the giant peaks stand alone, and is a monument to the national culture. It fully demonstrates its natural endowment, accumulated learning, broad vision, keenness to the spirit of the times, and warmth to life ."

  He introduced that the National Art Museum of China is fortunate to have 20 works of Li Keran's calligraphy and painting, all treasures.

These works are often seen with the audience in the "Collection Revitalization" series exhibitions at the National Art Museum of China.

  Wu Weishan recalled that he was fortunate enough to be invited to make a statue of Mr. Li Keran in 2008.

"Remember that the clay sculpture holding the scepter, standing on the green hill, watching the world, and looking like a monument, has just finished molding, and his son Mr. Li Xiaoke stood in tears for a long time... Later, it was unveiled by Mrs. Li Keran’s wife, Mr. Zou Peizhu, and the statue was permanently standing in the National Academy of Painting of China. "The statue of "Li Keran" also appeared in this exhibition.

  It is reported that the exhibition is curated by Wu Weishan, and Wang Luxiang is the academic host.

The exhibition will last until September 21.
