In response to an incident in which a 5-year-old boy was left behind in a shuttle bus and died of heat stroke at a nursery school in Nakama City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Fukuoka Prefecture did not take sufficient measures against the improvement recommendation issued to the nursery school in August. Therefore, I asked the garden side to resubmit the report.

In July, at "Futaba Nursery School" in Nakama City, a 5-year-old boy who attended this school was left behind on a shuttle bus when he went to the park and died of heat stroke, and police are investigating on suspicion of accidental fatalities in business. increase.

In response to this incident, Fukuoka Prefecture conducted a special audit based on the Child Welfare Act on the social welfare corporation that operates the nursery school in August.

In this, the prefecture requested that the director and others be clarified and dealt with rigorously, and that the rules for attendance confirmation be reviewed and made into a manual to report measures to prevent recurrence.

On the 10th, when the deadline for reporting some measures was reached, the nursery school submitted a report, but the prefecture requested that it be resubmitted because the content was insufficient.

According to the prefecture, although the director of the nursery school has changed, there is no adjustment as to whether or not the chief nursery teacher who also serves as the director of the corporation will remain in the nursery school, so it cannot be said that the responsibility was clarified and the measures were taken rigorously. The reason is that the attendance confirmation manual is inadequate.

The nursery school responded that they would consider it positively, and the prefecture has set the deadline for resubmission on the 14th of this month.
