Yamagata Prefecture announced on the 9th that it was confirmed that 25 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture also announced that one person who had been hospitalized at a medical institution in the prefecture died on the 8th.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 3362, and the number of people who have died is 51.
