In the presentation of its new season, TVE has added a new signing for its squad: Javier Ruiz.
The journalist, who just a few weeks ago it was announced that he stopped collaborating with
Ana Rosa's program,
will be in charge of leading a new political debate that will start in La 1.
"You really impress," said Ruiz when one of the conductors of the presentation gala in the Plaza de Callao, near Madrid's Gran Vía, María Eyzaguirre, announced her name as a member of the public channel.
"We are going to hold a debate that appeals to intelligence, that does not appeal to the stomach or the bile or the things we are seeing out there," Ruiz continued, remarking that the intention of his program is "to treat people like what it is, smart. "
The career of Javier Ruiz, who is currently head of the Economy of Cadena Ser, has been linked in recent years to Mediaset where he has presented
Las mañanas de Cuatro
and has been a collaborator in
The Ana Rosa program
and
Ya es mediodía.
That has been the great novelty, still to be resolved, of a grid in which Silvia Intxaurrondo and Marc Sala have also debuted this week at the head of La hora de La 1 and Jon Aramendi, the other driver of the gala this Thursday, with
Better with you,
the program that replaces The Clear Things by Jesús Cintora.
These will be the two daily morning programs that will precede the noon newscast in which Ana Blanco will remain.
