The obligation to present a health pass at the entrance to shopping centers in Lyon will be lifted from Friday, announces the Rhône prefecture on Thursday.

The decision was made in light of the incidence rate of coronavirus cases in the department.

A rate of less than 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and in continuous decline for at least seven days.

Thirteen department stores and shopping centers were affected by this measure, including those in Part-Dieu and Carré de Soie in Villeurbanne.

Respect for barrier gestures remains essential, however, recalls the prefecture.
