Three route changes were made by Vinci in Toulon (Var) as part of the continuation of work to widen the A57 to two times three lanes, which began last spring, reports

Var-Matin

.

These changes, which are expected to last at least a year and a half, affect both motorists and pedestrians.

First of all, a bypass has been put in place at the level of the tracks between Toulon and Nice since August 29.

It concerns motorists going to Nice or Hyères.

Cars must now use the tracks that previously led to the tunnel.

The speed was also limited to 50 km / h on this section.

Straps closures, pedestrian diversion

Another change is the closing of a second slip road at the Tomabadou interchange.

It is now impossible to exit through this interchange when arriving from Nice to arrive south of Valletta.

Other straps should be closed before the end of the month.

Finally, the pedestrian footbridge between avenue de la Palasse and rue André-Blondel will also be closed from September 13 due to its proximity to the works.

Leaflets were distributed by Vinci to residents in order to anticipate this pedestrian deviation.
