What exotic military generals do you know? Having thoroughly delved into this topic, I found such interesting examples of the genre as Colonel General of the Veterinary Service (USSR - introduced, but never assigned) or General Brony (modern Poland). But what does Moscow or even Warsaw know about real exoticism? For absolutely exotic exoticism (forgive me generously this "butter oil"), you should contact the capital of the country of the victorious "Maidan" - the city of Kiev. Although the times of the tsar and the great sovereign Peter I are no longer in the courtyard, in this glorious city there is still such a phenomenon as the generals of the amusing troops.

Of course, officially, these military leaders have completely different ranks. For example, the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Fedorovich Zaluzhny, is listed as a lieutenant general. However, it is not enough just to be a lieutenant general, they also need to be. And who is the venerable Valery Fedorovich? Judging by his public statements, he is a man who did not play enough with toy cars as a child and did not ride toy tanks. Judge for yourself. During a telecast on the air of the Ukrainian Channel Five, our (oh, no, fortunately, not ours) general asked if he had a dream to ride a tank on Red Square in Moscow. And General Zaluzhny simple-mindedly replies: “Probably yes. To be honest, yes. And along the Arbat too! "

Real generals must answer for their words and loud statements. Acting within the framework of this quite understandable logic, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Opposition Platform - For Life faction, Nestor Shufrich, suggested that General Zaluzhny behave more seriously: then shut up. " Good advice. Or even not just good, but absolutely excellent advice, which, unfortunately, will not be accepted for execution by General Zaluzhny.

“If you have courage, then do it” - but how can you do what is obviously unrealistic?

“If you don’t have courage, then be silent” - but why be silent if you can make a hype, show your steepness and detachment, show off without risking anything?

No, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Nestor Shufrich does not understand anything about the amusing troops!

For the generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, HYIP is all of them.

They cannot refuse the hype and statements in the style of Baron Munchausen, even if they suddenly have such a desire.

In this case, they will not be understood, they will be considered “not our people” or, God forbid, Russian spies.

Like, why do we need such generals who absolutely do not know how to brag and make deliberately false statements?

We don't need such generals!

What kind of generals does Ukraine need then? Apparently, such as, without the knowledge of the Minister of Defense, send military planes by order of a private company to transport weapons from Bulgaria to Rwanda. Or those who, faced with the dissatisfaction of the Minister of Defense with such a "strange plot twist", strongly resent and sue their Minister. Please do not throw rotten tomatoes or rotten carrots at me for the fact that my imagination went beyond reasonable or acceptable. I didn't invent anything. I just recounted the chain of events that led to the resignation of General Valery Zaluzhny's predecessor as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Ruslan Khomchak.

In short, what darlings they are, these Ukrainian commanders-in-chief! How they know how to amuse! What dizzying stories they throw at us! For example, could you imagine that this is possible? And they not only imagined, but even put everything into practice! It is so customary in their amusing troops. It is necessary to amuse the people with something. And civic leaders cannot be lagged behind in terms of providing fun for the public, too. And how difficult it is to keep up with them!

For example, the speaker of parliament representing the presidential party publicly recommends that the adviser to the head of the presidential office "get a job" in the Taliban movement banned in Russia *. But this very adviser to the head of the president's office gives a public response to the speaker: "You see, I have been professionally engaged in psychology for 25 years, and I do not take offense at patients!" Of course, we understand, dear Mr. Counselor! We understand and even admire in a sense. Like how cute, funny and funny they are! How merrily they play!

It's a pity that they are not playing children's games at all in the children's amusement park. For all the obvious associations with sandbox games, Ukraine simply does not have any "adult government". And how wonderful it would be if all the generals of the amusing troops and amusing advisers of the amusing presidential offices could be sent to the playroom and told them: “Look, children: here's a toy tank for you! Enjoy! Ride it along Red Square, Arbat, or the bottom of the Pacific Ocean or Antarctica! " But somehow I was daydreaming and became, by the standards of the modern Kiev political class, "a bit of Baron Munchausen." It's time to return from the kingdom of fantasy to the real world, in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are commanded by such "serious people" as General Zaluzhny.

* "Taliban" - the organization was recognized as terrorist by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of February 14, 2003.
