  The deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics introduced to Dechun that the "Beijing Index" is a comprehensive index system formed by analyzing the trend of cultural relics and art transactions in Beijing over the past 15 years, which will help deepen the institutional innovation of the cultural relics and art trading market. Lead the high-quality development of the national cultural relics and art market.

  The first issue of the "Beijing Index" released three key indexes: the comprehensive price index, the price index of Chinese paintings and the price index of calligraphy.

It will be used to comprehensively and objectively reflect the development trend of the cultural relics and art market in Beijing and the activity of the industry. It can be compared with macroeconomic indicators in the same period, and then reveal the overall trend of the cultural relics and art industry and the macroeconomic development, as well as people’s well-being, The relevance of people's happiness in life.

  He said that the data will be updated in real time after the "Beijing Index" is launched, and the index will be presented on three time scales of month, quarter, and year, and the "Beijing Cultural Relics and Artwork Trading Index Analysis Report" has been released.

While providing reference for government departments to study and judge macroeconomic trends, analyze consumption structure upgrades, and make major regulatory decisions, it also provides reference for people who operate, purchase, and invest in cultural relics and art, and become a "barometer" for Beijing's cultural relics and art transactions.
