A famous Egyptian blogger seeks help in a live broadcast: Save me from the injustice of my husband (video)
In a live broadcast, the famous blogger Yvonne Nabil appeared on her Facebook page from inside her apartment, crying out from her husband's brutality, who practices various forms of physical and moral torture on her, according to what was reported by the Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan.
Yvonne Nabil revealed, during the live broadcast, that she suffers from her husband's bad treatment of her for 8 years, which is constantly in front of her children's eyes, explaining that he publicly threatens her with weapons: He threatens and deceives me, save me from him.”
It is reported that Yvonne was a broadcaster until her husband forced her to leave her job and profession, which she loved, to settle inside the house.
Investigations by the security authorities stated that the victim’s wife appealed for help from her husband, and the security services of the Ministry of Interior announced her movement and took legal measures regarding the incident, in a quick response from them to the video and distress, and it was referred to the competent investigation authorities to discuss what was mentioned in it.
According to legal sources for Al-Watan newspaper, her husband is expected to face the following charges: assaulting the sanctity of private life, due to the husband recording private calls between him and his wife, and the penalty for which is imprisonment for one year, attempted murder, and the penalty for which is a maximum prison sentence of 3 to 15 years, according to the newspaper. Because the husband made a clear threat to his wife using a weapon, in addition to endangering children, the punishment of which is imprisonment for 6 months, for the husband’s use of a weapon in front of his children’s eyes.
