On September 8, the second phase of the Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Project was stepping up construction at the Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Base.
It is understood that the Changjiang Nuclear Power Phase II Units 3 and 4 adopt the "Hualong No. 1" technology of China National Nuclear Corporation's independent intellectual property rights, and officially started construction on March 31, 2021, planning to build two 1.2 million kilowatt nuclear power units.
The total investment of the project is estimated to be 36.85 billion yuan, and it is planned to be put into operation by the end of 2026.
