The departure of the "Holy Beast" Jean-Paul Belmondo after 88 years of giving

The famous French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo died on Monday at his home in the capital, Paris, at the age of 88.

"He's been very tired lately," his lawyer, Michel Godist, said.

And rest in peace.”

He represented Belmondo, nicknamed "The Sacred Beast", in eighty films, and many of his roles remain engraved in the French cinematic memory, including his scenes in the movie "Le Guinolo", in which he appeared hanging on a raft over Venice.

Belmondo was one of the most prominent figures of French cinema.

He suffered a stroke while filming a movie in 2001, which caused him major health problems.

The actor received the César Award, the French equivalent of the American Academy Awards, in 1988 for his role in the movie “Itinerer d’Anfan Gatte”, in addition to an honorary “César” award in 2017.
