A 35-year-old former ward council member in Edogawa Ward caused a rear-end collision with a car on the side of the road while driving a passenger car in Minato Ward, Tokyo last August, injuring the two people on board and escaping as it is. As a result, the documents were sent on suspicion of running away.
He told the Metropolitan Police Department that he said, "I remember hitting something hard, but I don't remember it well."
As a result of the investigation, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office dismissed the man on the 7th due to insufficient suspicion.
