Egyptian security rescues 80 people from the hell of an addiction treatment center..torture and prohibited drugs

The Egyptian security services managed to rescue more than 80 inmates of an unlicensed drug addiction treatment center in Giza, which tortures and shackles its inmates and forces them to take prohibited sedatives.

Information and investigations confirmed, according to a number of local media, that a person rented a villa located in Giza, and ran it as a medical center for addiction treatment without a license, and detained a number of drug users inside it, and dispensed drugs and medicines to them without medical advice, in return for a financial compensation.

After targeting the villa, its owner and those responsible for managing it were arrested and it was found that they were 5 people. It was also found that there were 80 people who used narcotic substances inside the villa, who were detained and present, and by asking 6 people from the inmates, they admitted that they were detained and the others inside that villa by their families against their will, and the assault them and handcuffed them with ropes by those in charge of managing the place.

The inspection resulted in the seizure of a quantity of psychotropic and neurological sedative drugs that are prohibited from being circulated without medical advice, drug analysis samples, medical syringes of unknown origin, 6 records to prove the conditions and living conditions of addicted inmates in the clinic, and a set of ropes and sticks used to assault inmates.

It also found violations in the facility represented in running a medical facility for addiction treatment without a license, practicing the profession of medicine and pharmacy without a license, dispensing psychiatric and nervous drugs and drugs without medical advice, and the lack of medical equipment and the availability of health safety means.
