The new school year has barely taken place when class closures have already been announced in the Loiret.

Which implies a break from classes for a week.

The first closings took place on Friday, September 3 at the Cléry Ferrières-en-Gâtinais school and at the Courtenay school, for CM1 and CE2 classes, reports

La République du Center

.

Monday, other closings were announced: a class of CE2 and one of CM2 in Orléans, for the Bénédicte-Maréchal school;

a CE2 class at the Molière school in Orléans;

then CM2 and CE2 / CM1 classes at the Château-Renard school.

Finally, the classes of small and medium / large section of the kindergarten of Ligny-le-Ribault were also temporarily closed.

National Education doctors consulted

These decisions were taken after consultation with the doctors of the National Education, reminded our colleagues Pascale Toupé, assistant to the academic director of the national education services (Dasen).

The closure for one week is pronounced upon confirmation of a positive case in the students.

Regarding contact cases, they can be put away from the courses, while continuing to be able to follow them.

A rule that does not apply to vaccinated students.

At the Collège La Source d'Orléans, three contact cases who were vaccinated were able to return to class.
