A sudden move by Muhammad Ramadan in the case of the pilot, Abu Al-Yusr

The Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, appealed the ruling against him obliging him to pay compensation of 6 million pounds to the late pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, against the background of causing a crisis that led to his suspension from work in 2019.

And the "Fi Al-Fan" website stated that a session was set for next November 17 to consider Mohamed Ramadan's appeal to stop the execution of the sentence issued against him.

The economic court had decided to compensate the pilot, Abu Al-Yusr, 6 million pounds, from the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, for the damages he sustained, due to a picture that Ramadan published on a plane led by Capt. Abu Al-Yusr, and the subsidiary lawsuit was rejected.

The lawsuit stated that the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, took advantage of his client's image to promote himself by publishing a video clip for a new song for him, taking advantage of the image of pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr in a demonstration scene while driving the plane, which led to severe financial and moral damages to him.
